Community Outreach

In 2019, fr3kls.com identified a critical need within underserved communities: the lack of access to life-saving swimming skills. Recognizing this gap, we initiated the Learn-to-Swim program, specifically designed to empower underprivileged children by equipping them with vital swimming capabilities. Our program is led by a devoted cadre of coaches, each with a rich background in both competitive and leisure swimming. They are deeply committed to nurturing a sense of water safety and enjoyment among participants.

Our approach has been to partner with organizations such as Kwezi Park, Habibia Girls Orphanage, St. Francis Boys Home, Al-Waaghah Institute for the Deaf, and Amazing Grace Childcare Center, extending our reach to children who benefit most from these life-changing skills. Recently, we've broadened our initiative to welcome children with hearing impairments, ensuring inclusivity and access for all.

The comprehensive program we offer consists of 10 lessons spread over a period of 10 weeks. It includes not just the swimming instruction, but also all necessary swimwear, transportation to and from lessons, meals after each session, and a celebratory gala day to mark their accomplishments. This holistic approach is made possible through the generous support of Planet Mercy South Africa, whose sponsorship has been pivotal in our ability to make a substantial difference in the lives of these children.

fr3kls.com stands at the forefront of addressing a significant challenge, proposing a practical solution, and bridging the gap through our Learn-to-Swim initiative. We extend an invitation to others to join us in this cause, fostering a larger, more impactful wave of change that not only teaches swimming but also instills confidence, resilience, and a sense of community among the next generation. Together, we can make a lasting difference.
